Ok if McCann is hitting them out that’s it. Gonna go to bed now and probably miss an amazing finish.

It’s like when me and my buddies go back and hit on the 13-14 year old park and crush homers like we’re badasses.

That's a set zone with no interpretation.

And it's any part above the plate as the rule states.

I've never seen a ball pitched BELOW the plate, have you?

Stop being obtuse.

If anyone is being obtuse here, it's you. The rule as written in no way perfectly describes the strike zone.

Besides, have you ever watched baseball before? Some umps have a tall and skinny zone, some have a short and wide one, some are small all around, and some are fat all around. It's a judgment call on top of an interpretation of the rule book. It is, and always has been, the batter's job to adjust to the ump. That's just how the game is played.

Those things don't go hand in hand though. You'd think they'd cancel each other out.

REddick has a top 3 RF arm in MLB you don't run on him on a line drive like that unless he's moving backwards

You run on correa when the fastest guy on your team gets a great jump on a 2B into the well and is 30 feet around th bag when correra is getting the relay

Woodward doesn't sound confident at all and the moment got to him. Understandable. He was trying to make up for not sending Taylor on the 2B and would have looked like a fool had Taylor heard him correctly

You're kidding right?

It absolutely is. The lines are clearly defined, what are you talking about?

A big zone should cut down on homers. This game is unreal.

A bigger strike zone helps pitchers. That’s what I find so fascinating about this game.
