Every arena they play in is 90% blue.

Easy to travel when your house is on wheels.

I wouldn't say any sport, but I think we travel better than anyone in college basketball right now. I've seen UNC fans travel well, Louisville doesn't do bad either.

Basketball arenas are much smaller than football stadiums. Percentage wise, kind of a pound for pound, yeah Kentucky basketball is likely #1. Ohio State and Bama football bring more in sheer numbers though.

Its a lot easier to take over a bball arena than a football stadium though

When they came to College Station a few years ago (before Noel got hurt), I was very impressed with the number of people they brought. It was absurd. An hour before tip off, there was blue everywhere.

It's pretty pathetic.

It's college basketball.

I remember watching Wisconsin play UCLA in the Rose Bowl and that stadium was about 65/35 Wisconsin. Nebraska did the same at Notre Dame in 2000.

I was at the UGA/WVU Sugar Bowl in Atlanta and it was probably a 50/50 split. Considering the distance of the two schools from Atlanta, it was impressive. The running joke that week was that WVU fans turned Atlanta into the world's largest trailer park.

Living here, their fans have taken over downtown Cleveland and few other parts of the city well. I didn't get to the area where their pep rally was but I'm sure it was packed. Number 1 in basketball likely but not in terms of shear volume. 8/10 on city invasion scale....

They have a massive bandwagon following. There is no way that many people travel from Western PA to wherever the Steelers are playing that week.

Beat me to it. No one else is close.

I'll be honest, for all sports, WVU is up there with anyone.
