I prefer radio for baseball

I watch college baseball but I've never watched an MLB game

Not since Harry Carey died

I hate baseball. I used to watch some, then just World Series and now I haven’t watched a single pitch in years. I haven’t missed it. The only thing worse than watching it is hearing the scores on the radio. What possible difference does it make if the Brewers beat the Padres 5-3 on a random night in June? Hurry up college football.

I drove by PNC park in Pittsburgh a little while ago and now question if anyone even watches baseball anymore.

I think baseball is just an extremely boring sport to watch on TV. Especially for a 162 regular game season. Same with the NBA. The limited number of regular season games is what makes football great in my opinion. Each game feels high stakes.

Man I grew up with Harry Caray on WGN. Good times.

As a White Sox fan, frick no I’m not watching that shite.

In an age of reels and memes sports is finding it hard to keep the short attention spans of people focused on a game. I think the trend is now to try and end games more quickly. Baseball has the pitch clock now.
I tend to watch it but I have antenna TV, I don't stream anything. So, sports are on but often it's some major market team not a local. I don't see the Braves very much on TV. A lot of sports has gone to specific stations, MLB, NFL etc.
I tend to find a game on Saturday and Sunday.

Use MLB. tv to watch the Red Sox pretty much every day. Will also watch other close games. I can’t imagine not following all summer.

Watch it more the last few years than the previous 20. MLB network is one of the few services I watch all the time. Got it for the cubs, but have ended up watching a lot of other teams play. The games are much quicker now and these young guys are damn good. From Skenes to PCA, lots of reasons to watch.

Unless you have cable in St. Louis, you cannot watch the Cardinals. Its been this way for years. There are no work arounds or streaming services since Youtube TV and Sling also pulled it a few years ago. MLBtv.com doesn't work with in network (which in the Cardinals case covers some 8 different states) or a VPN.
From what I am observing, the MLB is suffering in the new streaming world. The business model doesn't seem to work outside of the lucrative in-market cable TV deals and people have transitioned to streaming.
The Cards have sucked for years, but it will be tough to get the fans back if nobody can follow the team.
*edit many rural areas in these 8 Cardinals market states, are not even serviced by cable, so they are just shite outta luck

Used to love it.
They lost me when they moved the ASG in protest over voter identification.
Let that sink in -- America's pastime objecting to election integrity.

Nothing beat a summers night in early 90’s eating some ice cream/ popcorn watching the Braves with my dad are grandpa
That was preceded by the cubs and ball practice in between!
Good ole days as a kid!

I watch every Astros game on TV if I'm home.
