Listened religiously the last 3-4 yrs. Since he’s moved to C full time, the show has significantly dropped in quality due to his constant ramblings on whatever new platform he’s pitching,

The interviews have always sucked since he’s a one trick pony. Also, no smack off so far this year??!

Only thing Jim Everett ever did where I respected him.

Frick Jim Rome, slimy little cock sucker…

The one thing I remember that was funny was the bit about Adult Softball Guy.

That, and him (allegedly) handing out cough drops and dead AA batteries for Halloween.

He's still on radio, has the show broadcast on X, and it's also shown on his own channel on FAST TV. That's the free TV app platform, Prime, Plex, Samsung TV, etc. Guy is building and broadcasts his brand across multiple platforms.

I went to a tour stop at the Palace. John L Smith showed up. I think Bill Laimbeer was there. Darren McCarty was kind of sad, you could tell he was totally wasted.

This was one of my favorite rants. It was prime Rome where you couldn't tell if he was actually upset or just doing schtick.

I remember listening to his show 10-15 years ago when I was driving back from New Orleans and thinking it sounded tired and worn out. Can only imagine what it would be like in the year of our Lord 2024.

Used to love it 20 years ago. Would legit lol at some of the callers. Another one that would always get me was when he’d tell the story of his dad just putting his dogs down for no reason.

His monologue on Michael Jackson was hilarious. Wish I could find it somewhere.

I have it on in my office everyday on Prime, watching it on TV due to convenience. Personally, I like the radio version better because he is allowed to play music and sound drops over that medium, something to do with licensing, where he can't do those music and sound drops over X or the free TV platforms. I think they are working on the legal issues that allow them to do that. My guess is it's the reason he hasn't had the Smackoff yet this year. Wants to be able to have the full production on TV/X.

Some of his monologues about random things were side-splitting funny because they were so spot-on

Not really but his show spawned sports boards, which created boards like tiger droppings.

The trolls board, then the one board, several other off shoots and now we have. A tiger droppings and the lot.

There are peeps on here who were on those trolls boards. Some really good sports forums were on those boards.

I think he was on a Lafayette sports radio station when I was down there around 2013 or 2014. He show sounded exactly like it did in the 90's. He's like Finebaum when it comes to depending on his listeners to provide sh*tty content.
