And? Braves were #1 in strikeout rate during the playoffs last year and #1 in HR rate. 57% of their runs during postseason were scored via the HR. No one had more strikeouts than them.

Strider is just an immature piss ant. I doubt he has the stuff to be more than a career journeyman

He is #1 in all of Major League Baseball in Stuff+.

Although deGrom doesn’t qualify yet and will probably be #1 when he does.

Has the game changed since then? Is a high HR/high K offense not going to be capable of success in this year’s postseason climate?

Bassitt Carrasco or Walker?
has a better era than these three.

isn’t starting to break down like these two. Any team in the league would kill for strider right now

Well, y'all have a losing record against teams with a pulse this season. So there is that.

Jesus this thread is full of weird flexes.

Obviously, Strider wouldn't be in the rotation if he were on the Mets. You guys have the best rotation in baseball.

Whether or not you'd like to admit it, though, I'm sure you'd like to have him in your organization. He's one of the main reasons we're leading the WC standings this year.

Sure, but he has to shave that stache off first

Ok? Just like we did last season? Is that supposed to be an indicator of postseason success?

The last 3 full season WS champions had losing records against other playoff teams in the regular season.

I just looked at the Phillies schedule and they do have a pretty easy September. Besides a 2 game series against Toronto, its a bunch of middling or bad teams and then us for 6 games total. They could potentially make up a lot of ground.

Braves have 12 more against WSH/MIA. Mets have 11. Phillies have 13. Yes there are other bad teams out there but these 2 take the cake right now.

We don't start threads around here for teams that haven't won a title since the 80s.

Guillorme out 4-6 weeks and Escobar can’t swing from the right side (by far his better side). And we call up fricking Gosuke Katoh instead of Baty.. don’t get this one at all
