She called the President of the United States a white supremacist, his cabinet members white supremacists, and all the people who voted for him racist bigots. When, in the history of business, is it a good idea to alienate half of your customer base?
It's also about a double standard. If Scott Van Pelt has said those same exact words about Obama he would have been fired within minutes. ESPN fired Doug Adler for using the term "guerrilla effect" about a Venus Williams volley return during a tennis match. They fired Curt Schilling for a facebook meme. Linda Cohn was suspended for saying "we should keep politics and sports separate" in an interview not broadcast by ESPN. But sure racism and slavery and let her vent. Don't care I stopped watching ESPN years ago except for the games. I wouldn't even know who this lady was if she didn't make the news.
As far as abc my direct tv is not showing it and I really did not notice until I accidentally flipped it around and thought my tv was broke.
I guess basically their shows do not appeal to me and I guess they do not want white people watching their channel.
