They had to play the lowly Texans and Titans to get to the SB. They didn’t look that good in either game too.

They got off to a slow start in both games, but come on. They scored TDs on 7 consecutive possessions against the Texans and went on a 49-7 run. They also dominated the Titans today after getting down.

Yes they probably did. But they won so they don’t give a shite.

If 49ers win they’ll have had an easy road also. That’s why you get the bye.

Depends how you look at it. The teams they played? Maybe. But based solely on seed, nope.

There have been 4 times that a team beat the #5 and #6 seeds to advance to the Super Bowl.
Seattle in 2005-06 beat the #5 and #6 seeds to advance to the Super Bowl, and then again in 2013-2014. Indianapolis did the same in 2009-10. And Pittsburgh in 2010-11.
