1) What is he supposed to say? “No, women can’t play in the NBA.” He’d get backlash and he’s smart enough to know when to pander to the media.
2) He didn’t say they’d be starters or be good. Those women could maybe play in the NBA on a two week contract as the last bench player who gets 2 min of play a week on a bad team with injury issues.
