Maybe the Bears should hold off on the Teddy talks and see if BOB is willing to deal Watson as well.

Trade isn’t as bad as people are making it out to be. Hopkins has wanted out for awhile and Johnson needs a change of scenery.

ETA: Plus the Texans needed the draft capital. This draft is loaded with WR. If Watson is really a franchise guy you can get 80-90% of Hopkins’ production at a 10th of the cost.

Kliff: let’s low ball them, make them give us a 4th, so they counter saying they aren’t giving the 4th

Rest of room: okay let’s do it. We don’t need the 4th anyway. We are already owning him

BOB: okay I’ll do it!

The contracts aren't THAT different.

I feel like Arizona made out like a bandit here.

the rest of the league has to be so salty that bob didn’t call.

Cardinals gave up nothing for an elite WR. Surely someone would have given the Texans a first

And that means it's a good trade?

the trade is awful on its surface, but you KNOW the Texans didn’t shop him around because everybody would have given a left nut for Hopkins

Belichick has to be shitting himself with rage

The Texans are idiots for making this trade. Of course, that all depends on who they draft with those two picks and their long term success, but they are giving up one of the best WRs in the league..
