I have been out of the loop all week and I'm just now catching up on the news, but why is this 290 pages and why is it a bigger story than Lance's "admission"?

You believe te'o. Got it. That's fine, but what I heard from the interview last night, it sounds like Te'o never really loved this girl yet he still blew her up as the love of his life that had died and it brought him fame and fortune (awards).

Yea, even if he thought she was real and wasn't part of it, he clearly embellished their relationship and used her death to his benefit.

It's mostly a slap fight between those who believe Te'o and those who think he's a thug POS, with a few facts regarding dates and statements made sprinkled in the mix. Also, some of the irishenvy posts made it into the thread.

Yeah we could hear Te'o had zero to do with making it up but that doesn't change the fact that he made their relationship seem more serious than it really was. You don't understand that this is what most people have the problem with.

Because it's so interesting watching the Catholic/ND fanatics blindly support Te'o as soon as he makes any statement, regardless of whether or not is reasonable or not. It's just like Penn St. and JoePa. You can tell the people who no matter what, will not accept anything negative about one of their idols. It's interesting to follow.

I'm just curious about Lance's money...I know he just lost 75 million in future earnings, but does he already have enough $$$ to keep him rich for life?

Yeah, I think he did get trolled. He isn't the brightest. Embellished the relationship. Lied. Shallow for not visiting in the hospital. Roniah wanted money at some point. We will probably never know if any transactions took place.

People have a problem with him using a false story to promote himself in the eyes of the media and heisman voters.

You're just undervaluing that part of it. The dude had a half arse online relationship by his own admission, he wouldn't visit her in the hospital and it didnt even cross his mind. He hears she dies and he uses it to become the best human interest story, and parlay that into winning almost every major award he could.
