don't waste your time
its more likely that teo decided he needed to make heisman campaign after nearly losing to purdue the week before.
so he kills off the gf...
makes sure musberger mentions her on air...
gets 7 INTs (making 3 of them flukey tip balls) ....
wins 2 games we should have lost...
and eventually goes undefeated.
(only thing he didn't control for was jonny football)
brilliant scheme and plan; executed to *near* perfection.
makes sense

His parents never wanted to meet her when Te'o lied to them and said she was in Hawaii and that he was going to hang out with her?
I haven't been following this story as closely as some of you guys, so I don't know every single detail.
But I'm sure there is a logical explanation if you choose to see it.

Well here's a lie right there. He was in LA on May 12th.

ESPN: A group, including a woman claiming to be Lennay Kekua, showed up at the #NotreDame team hotel for BCS title game vs. #Alabama.
Maybe that explains why he thought she may have actually been real. As in thought he was getting trolled, then when he got trolled about the drugs, maybe they relled Te'o back in and was going to have her show up in Miami.
But that would totally contradict what ND said

IrishEnvy gold:
"The disheartening thing is that EVERYONE wants to talk about this now, but NOBODY wants to invest the five minutes worth of gathering all the information and really thinking about it that it would take to conclude that he wasn't in on the hoax. Like you pointed out, there are facts that basically prove that he couldn't have been in on it, and nobody talks about those; and the whole thing doesn't quite sound quite AS crazy (still crazy though) when you lay out a fact-based timeline, but its easier for people to say "derr they were super steady for 4 years and they didn't meet? HOAX! derr..." than to think about this stuff fairly.
Because lets be honest: what this is to everyone else is just a weird funny story that lets them make fun of Notre Dame. Nobody REALLY cares enough to think about it critically."

He would have had to start this hoax before the season even started, then plan to kill her off at the perfect time...
in order to gain sympathy to win a Heisman?
I'm sure he wasn't even expecting to be in the Heisman race at all. He also wasn't expecting Notre Dame to be as good as they were.
That whole theory is just so "out there" that it is hard to believe that people actually thought that was a logical theory.

So how were they going to dupe this mongoloid into thinking it was lennay? I'm assuming they didn't kidnap the chick in the pictures.
This is all bullshite. Manti was in on it the whole time and frick him for insultin our intelligence.

If Te'o would lay out that timeline, the whole truth this time, it would be easier to see his point of view.

Maybe he went to ND in mid-December to let them know that he was the victim of a hoax because this girl was not dead.
Then why did he keep telling people in interviews that she was dead?

Maybe he was saving her from those drug dealers. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Whether or not he was in on the hoax, he lied to the nation. Period.
