Manti is an instant locker room distraction. Much moreso than someone with criminal issues. Those players don't give a shite if you smoke weed or drive drunk and get caught.
His teammates will never accept him now for this.
Plus he's an average LB, not Ray Lewis consensus HofF'er.

Well clearly thats going to be a large issue as well.
He is average. And no one takes on that big of a distraction for an average player.

The fact that the funeral took place in a City that doesn't exist (CArson City, CA), if he did send flowers there, they would have been returned to sender or at very least the florist would have gotten back to him and said "uh, sir, there is no such place as Carson City...are you sure you have it right?" then he would have had to investigate...he didn't because his entire story is BS

I think Manti told some white lies about their relationship (i.e. that they met in person), not for publicity, but because it's embarrassing and/or difficult to explain a strictly online relationship (I'm sure now he wished he hadn't for obvious reasons). I do believe he legitimately thought this girl was real, had a relationship with her, and believed she died.
