Altuve is trying too hard to play hero ball. Showing absolutely no discipline at the plate and it is killing this team.

So disappointed with the offense tonight. You want to be champions? Deliver a run scoring hit. Best player at the plate, tying run on 3rd, 7 outs to go. Can't even get it out of the infield

You’re down 1 with your meat of the lineup coming up. You’re running out of chances and that could very well be the last chance that part of the lineup sees any pitches.
You don’t just give up an out here. Because that’s what JV is at bat. An out.
Again, at this point, it doesn’t matter if you go to your bullpen if your lineup is 0-6 w/RISP tonight. They’ve scored 1 run. You have to rely and give an offense that is struggling more chances to score.
