What a shite piece of writing. So the Astros should not be allowed to make a good hire?
BTW, what’s the latest on punishment for the Red Sox for their involvement in the cheating scandal that? You know the one that challenged the integrity of the game in Houston? Does that not apply in Boston as well?

Reads like something a 9-year-old would write.

So I decided to dig into the sign stealing scandal website that guy put together and through the games in May so far I've gotten some interesting info.
Through May in PA where there was a bang Astros players hit 0.224 with 0.744 OPS.
Another interesting thing I've gotten so far is in the PA with at least one bang 44.36% of the time a bang is heard either on a Fastball or no bang occurs on offspeed pitch.
As i get time i will try to finish the data and share with you all, but so far it's pretty interesting to see some major inconsistencies to how well they were able to even use this system and how inaccurate they were with the indicator to hitter.
ETA: this I guess shows boredom one can get when they take a random Tuesday off

Around here, we crunch the toothpicks.

Will be interesting to see if dusty goes his own way with the lineups or if hinch will continue to pull the strings from the beyond.

Hinch interview tomorrow on MLB network
quote:
Chandler Rome @Chandler_Rome MLB Network will air an exclusive interview with former Astros manager A.J. Hinch tomorrow at 5 p.m. It's Hinch's first sitdown since he was fired last month. Tom Verducci conducted it. 2:22 PM · Feb 6, 2020

Hunch wants to manage again. I'm sure his agent has put together a PR plan to paint him as a remorseful sympathetic figure. Tomorrow's interview will be about how sorry he is, detail his cockblocked efforts to stop it.
He'll spend 2020 doing an apology tour, get a trial run in post season TV analysis, go full time on TV in 2021 to make amends with the blood thirsty media types and he'll be back on the bench by 2022.

The real crime was how ineffective we were at capitalizing on the sign eavesdropping.

Hinch will manage the Mets in 2021 assuming van wagenan isn't fired. If hinch goes to the Mets springer will go with him and it's close to home for George.

I don’t need to crunch numbers to know that they were ineffective at WeverTF they were trying to do
And in the playoffs, you couldn’t hear shite in MMP
So let’s play ball

I am glad that the question of why George Springer is leading off wont be asked this season. You know dusty was shouting that into his TV every time he watched us

Hunch can suck my arse. This shite is on for being a massive pussy and not managing his clubhouse.
I am so sick of this story. I get why we aren’t going to to stop hearing about it but I am over it

Yeah I really don’t get how he’s the sympathetic figure here. Dude was such a beta they didn’t even respect him to stop after he broke the TVs

People are gonna get triggered all over when they sign Leon. Hopefully he’s good
Posted on 2/6/20 at 7:31 pm to ShaneTheLegLechler
I can't find much of a read up on Leon. Apparently the Astros are giving him $4 million which will likely be the largest number in this IFA class.
Posted on 2/6/20 at 7:45 pm to Lsuhoohoo
Leon has been an absolute monster in Cuba's Serie Nacional. In 2018, he set a record by clobbering 15 home runs in just 33 games during the National Series.
What makes the budding star more valuable is his versatility on defense as he's more than comfortable playing all outfield positions. Given the Astros depth in the OF, that will only help him achieve more run in the lineup.
