Also, does anybody know the details of the sign stealing stuff? Was it only banging on trash cans or were there other methods?
How often was it done? Every game? Just done games? What about the playoffs?
Because there are literally only a few games you can hear the banging, and people have been searching like crazy. And in those games, you only hear the banging sporadically throughout the game. Maybe 5-10 times total.
So how much were they actually doing this?

People focus on his handling of his bullpen in that wildcard game, and rightfully so, but I'd be ok with him. The shite roster he had to deal with in Baltimore the following couple of years isn't representative of his ability.

I'm pretty sure it's just doing due diligence. Interview all the obvious names to get a feel for the different options. Crane is handling this whole thing so I don't mind his gathering as much intel as he needs to make a good decision.
