would love to see Beltran got scorched earth on the Yankees on his way out.
Pretty sure Beltran would have said something had he had anything on the Yankees.
But he doesn't

Lol I'm pretty sure even you aren't that stupid. Well, then again.

If there were any doubt in my mind that the Astros attempts to steal signs were difference makers in their championships, I do think it would bother me.
But their road records being significantly better than at home in ‘17 and ‘18, not just significantly better, but historically better, really gives me peace.
I think the results of this last WS is the clincher. Surely, if they had a system in place that was genuinely effective using devices, it would have been enough to win ONE goddamn home game, right?
‘17 banner hangs forever, and this ‘20 team will have Bregman sized chips on their shoulders. LOL
Can’t wait to face Fiers

You’re a lot more optimistic than I am. Especially seeing the list of guys interviewing for the opening. Gibbons? Terrible. Bunch of retreads....

We had a guy who made a lineup, then sat and watched the game with the rest of us.
Same arrogant frick that forced healthy AS/MVP type players to rest when healthy.
We’ll be fine

Much more worried about the GM slot than manager. Manager is easily replaced as well if it goes south

Venable interviews with Astros Friday for manager job
Cubs 3rd base coach
Gibbons interviewed today, Showalter yesterday. Espada is still in consideration. Dusty Baker says he'd be interested but hasn't been contacted.
Shame we missed out on Joe Maddon by a few months.

Crane will probably just purchase another Hinchbot.

I’m in no hurry for them to hire a GM
Draft picks are the most important pieces, and we don’t have the best ones for 2 years

I know if Brett Venables get the nod we will blitz the hell out of teams.

Dig up Buddy Ryan to run the 46 against Fiers.

Got some info from someone who has been very reliable. Told me about the whole cheating thing a day before it broke if you recall. Anyways, this is the latest text I got...
“Yankees will also be investigated for sign stealing. Espada was involved while there and Crane won't take a risk on him”

It’s gonna be weird seeing another manager besides Hinch in the dugout coaching this team.

It really will be. And the DAT will surely turn on the new guy before the end of April

Houston radio morning host, John Granato, on ESPN 97.5 said he heard from someone close to the team that Springer is good with signing an extension this spring, he said they will get it done in the spring.
He normally has pretty good contacts in the Houston sports scene.

This, Luhnow for as much shite as we have all given him at time is going to be extremely tough to replace.

Hear me out.
Here’s JV in Detroit. From the time the catcher delivers the sign to his delivery is what, maybe 3 seconds?
So the guy in the outfield has to correctly get the sign, radio it to the dude in the clubhouse with the trash can, and have home bang on it to get the signal to the player, then the player process it and make adjustments.
And all this has to happen in less than 3 seconds. To give them a true advantage you’d have to know before the pitcher releases the ball so you could make adjustments. At best you’re getting a signal while the ball is already in the air.
Is it wrong? Sure, but players have been trying to steal signs since the game was invented. But these assclowns saying this is on the level of the steroid scandals? Give me a fricking break.
