Yeah, it’s AL week and I’m reading just as much about baseball as CFB.

Congrats

That play only extends the series. Boston had the better team this year, and closed the deal.

Now, enjoy the off season with a DRST somewhere and get your arse out of the DAT Offseason Thread

Congratulations on your team winning another WS. They are a fun team to watch (when they’re not beating the Astros.

And...

You are the very definition of the term “Red Sox Fan”.

1 Year Ago Today...

Everyone should take the 3 minutes and click that and watch the recap. So good with our radio guys on the call

Also, not that it’s a surprise but we are planning on offering Keuchel a QO. Not Marwin though (We’ll offer a multi year deal). It was reported that there’s no word on whether we offer Charlie one or not but I don’t see anyway we don’t

I'm ready for some free agency moves to start popping. I'm gonna be disappointed if we don't find a legit upgrade at DH. Tyler White is....fine. But if we're to be a legit title contender, we need to do better at a key offense generating position.

I wonder if Ludlow finds a way to dump Reddick. It would open options for an outfield bat while leaving Tucker to fight for a job as well.

Doubt lunhow does much. His MO is to hope. And pray. He will not beat Boston next year with this line up. His pitching will be far worse as well. He needs to realize who his competition is decide if he's a killer or not.

Question for you guys. If, and it's a big if, we were to trade for Goldschmidt, he I believe is a free agent after 2019. What do you think our chances would be of resigning him after the season? I would guess not too high.

I'd say that would depend on whether they actually intend to re-sign George long term.

He's from The Woodlands so I'd like our chances of keeping him at home. But therein lies the problem. Do we want to sign a 32 year old to a pricey longterm contract when we've got Bregman, Correa and Springer to deal with in a few years?

I didn't even know that. That would be cool.

See, this is the kind of shite we have to deal with in here. LOL

Is the 13 ur age?

Figure out what DAT means, and ur probably only a couple days from understanding what a DRST is.

IHIOGA our chances to keep Goldschmidt would be very very good. He is my dream offseason target. Could pay the price for a 1 year rental with a very good chance of resigning him if we are willing to pay

This is not the thread for it, but just so u know, I am now aware of Pearce and his bat.

Although he really didn’t hurt us, Gurriel didn’t help us. If he had, we may have seen him show up in the WS too.

FTR, I’m still Team Gurriel. But I wouldn’t mind seeing Reddick playing elsewhere.
