Jake won a 10 pitch at bat and ended with a homer. He’s turned his spring around after striking out his first 10 ABs or whatever.
Cam kinda got a bad call on a check swing K in the first, but gets a humpback single to the right side with runners in his second time up

Jake usually has like one month a year where he hits well and isn't a totally useless frick. Let's hope that month isn't March this year.

Part of it is definitely how it ended and how he upset he (and I
) were
A couple times since the Astros have gotten better of him and he always tips his cap as well in the post game interviews

He is truly a professional.
And he really needed that WS in '19 and would have done what was necessary to get it
Hinch was too weak to override Strom. Hinch got much better during his time in Houston at handling pitching, but dropped the ball at the most critical time, and it bounced out of the yard

And Bloss threw 3 shut with 5 K's.

Dammit. Y'all are really dragging me back into disbelief that the 2019 team didn't win a world series.
That offense
That rotation
Howie Kendrick?

You clearly were not trying hard enough.
Be better.
Exactly! I've found it pretty easy to root against him after his a-hole move in the locker room.

He has had a rough spring 4 innings 8 earned runs 2 losses before today.

Hate the injury for Cole. Same for Stanton, though he probably is a roided-out frick and even though he has always killed the Astros.
Sorry, I can’t be happy about injuries, per se. Just find it to be bad karma, personally. So I don’t ever want to see anyone get hurt.
But I love it for the Yankees because frick them.

Apparently the vulgar Rangers hat you posted about has been pulled! Classic. That whole line of hats are terrible.

I didn’t see one that I would wear in public. Just unbelievably bad

I don’t. I’m not happy about it.
But seriously, frick that guy.
All those games with the Yankees fans screaming “frick Altuve!” and that pussy never once said to those fans, “yall have it wrong. Altuve is a good man. And all of the Altuve hate needs to stop.”
But he didn’t. Not once.
So frick him.
And it tickles me nicely that the Yankees will be paying that pussy to rehab while his legs and back get one year closer to saying “No mas!”

McCormick 2/14 this Spring at the plate. Already in mid season form.

Still hitting better than Altuve and Diaz.

Brown looking midseason form
4 innings 0 runs 0 walks 6ks
Dezenzo batting .350 on the spring after a 2/3 game today. I really like him in bench utility role.

Pending what they do with Smith and if Walker is healthy below is what I’d like to see as the opening day position player roster
Yainer
Caratini
Walker (assuming he’s alive)
Dubon
Rodgers
Pena
Paredes
Altuve
Meyers
Chas
Dezenzo
Gamel
Yordan
