Cam Smith did damage again, 106mph that travelled 412 for a 3 RBI triple. Hopefully one of the beat reporters post video.

Framber and Wesneski piggy backed. Framber looked like he battled his command. Wesneski with three punch 1 hit and 1 BB in his two innings.

I think they've got to start him at AA and give him time to cycle through, face any ups and downs and see how he responds and adjusts after the league gets a look at him. As good as he's looked, he's only played like 35 professional games. But hopefully it all goes well and they can fast track him this season.

Atlanta moved some of their guys so fast when Dana was there. We haven’t had really had a prospect of a caliber worth doing it but I am interested to see how fast they move him

Steven Okert is having a very nice spring so far trying to break camp as the lefty reliever. 4 innings, 0 hits, 1BB and 4 punch.

Some pretty interesting options for the middle innings that have some big league time already that are new to the org.

Montero with another scoreless inning. You know they’re itching to put him on there

Dana has fast tracked a few of our guys. They pushed Brice Matthews up to AAA. They brought up Jake Bloss from AA. So there's been some flashes of thst type of aggressive movement. I don't doubt they'd move Cam quickly if he comes out looking strong.

Oh yea I've already mentally prepared for the Montero experience through at least April.

Well good. So we don't have to list the 11.5 million reasons he's going to be given every chance to make the team.

Cam Smith did damage again

So, when he gets called up at the ASB, do we know if Paredes can play 2nd?

By then for sure, Chas and/or Jake will be unplayable, an almost certainty in my eyes, so Dubon will have to be out there.

Paredes is chubby and just okay at third so I am having a hard time seeing him be passable in the middle infield. One of the reasons I didn’t like bringing back Bregman or trading for Arenado. I know they said they were going to work Smith in the OF as well, I’m not sure if that’s actually happened.

It would really suck to have pieces that we can’t use

Should Framber give us a great contract year and Brown solidify his place, the rest of the arms could be enough

We could end up with the bats, but nowhere to put them

Seems like a competent GM could figure that out. Not bashing either. The Tucker deal was a great move, and I realize the dead money handicapped us, but I’m expecting him to get these pieces figured out by ASB/trade deadline

It will work itself out I’m sure. Smith forcing the issue would be a good problem to have even if frustrating

This is likely the most positive minded thing you have posted in a DAT in 20 eleventy years.

1-4 in the lineup looks solidified for the season. Who the hell knows what 5-9 will look like though

I'd like to see Paredes hit 2nd ahead of Yed. He typically works a good at bat, sees some pitches. Gives Yed a better chance to watch a pitcher from the circle, potentially work him a bit. Maybe he makes a location mistake after a longer at bat with Paredes. You know Altuve is just going to go up swinging first pitch 80% of the time.

It is only going to matter the first inning. After that, the 2 hole will most likely be hitting with no one on base with 1 or 2 outs.

Get ready for 90% of Yed's HRs being of the solo-shot variety.

Walker scratched with oblique soreness

Better than “discomfort” I suppose
