Did List Eater write it?

I'm convinced someone in the DAT wrote it.

Pretty sure the girl singing "take me out to the ball game" was supposed to be Ryno.

"you play ball kid?" guy is definitely 5 Deep.

The Astros and Boras are playing chicken. Both sides keep leaking shite to the media to scare the other, except I believe the Astros are going to add a veteran bat in the end whether it's Bregman or not

I agree but my question still remains

The answer is, they are reactive to the market because of Crane's interference. So here we are, talking to infielders when we need outfielders.

This Bregman thing stinks of some Bagwell shite and I can’t stand it

I actually feel like the "Astros talking to Polanco to move to outfield" stinks of Bagwell.

I can hear him now, "Look, anyone can play outfield. And a challenge like that will be just what he needs to get him out of his career-worst year funk."

It sounds like Tuve will get some play in LF regardless of signing Bregman.

Teams are going to run all over that noodle arm

Yeah, even more than Jake with less room to cover

I think that talk was just hyperbole anyway, wanting everyone to know they hate to see him go

I think it’s a net neutral though when compared to Yordan.

Teams will take an extra base:

A) due to Altuve’s non arm after getting to the ball
B) Yordan lumbering before getting to the ball.

Just assuming they end up signing Bregman…not that I’m saying that will happen…I’ll take Tuve’s bat and drop off in the field over Dubon or one of the farmhands out there.

And just to say, it isn’t that Yordan is flat out slow…he’s fine on the bases. But he isn’t quick, and that hurts him in the field.

I’d rather just neither of them play LF personally

Completely agree.

I am just bracing myself for what Cranewell might possibly do.

I bet Luhnow sits back, drinks a good bourbon and laughs his arse off at Astros off season blundering. Every offseason.

I wish Dana Brown would quit talking to the media so much. He talks way too much for someone who has so many decisions made above his head. The accuracy rates on his comments have to be less than 50 percent.

I feel like the closer we get to spring training, teams are going to wait out Bregman and see if they can get him on a Scott Boras discount special where they don't have to commit 6 years to him.

Absolutely. I wish we’d be offering him a three year with opt outs type deal like I’m sure the Mets/Red Sox/Cubs have that have been waiting on the sidelines.

Well, they're biased since they're an AL West rival.

As you know, the Astros are historically underrated when it comes to farm systems, and I feel like there are some pieces down there, but Dana has a lot of work to do

Well, that and the fact that it will probably take losing to fill the cupboard some will likely leave it in the hands of his successor.
