I'm a fan of 2, so give me 2, 7, 4.

The rest, thanks for playing.

So last night to get my baseball fix, I watched Moneyball followed by the 6th inning of Game 6 clincher in ‘22 WS

Back in ‘17, there was a blonde in the first row behind home plate in most of the postseason games that caught my eye. She had red, white, and blue on.

She was there again this year just to the right of home plate with a red, white, and blue scarf.

Do any of you DATers know who she is? I would consider stalking her. LOL

Wait.

Are you numbering right to left, or left to right?

Am I the last one to hear about us trying to get Salvador Perez from the Royals?

It's like my mother always used to say, "Put that down. It's expensive."

Hadn't seen it anywhere. Did a Twitter search and there's like 3 tweets about it

According to Michael DeRosa from #BaseballRumors website. Stated this: The Astros are making big push for Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez

I've never heard of Michael DeRosa or mlbrumors.me but here's what it says

quote:

The Houston Astros are looking to beef up the catcher position before the start of the 2023 season. As a result, they are now browsing the trade market to see if they land an upgrade. Due to this, there are rumblings that they are aiming to make a big push for Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez.

Perez would certainly be a major splash for the Astros, as he is a seven-time All-Star and has the potential to provide major pop at the plate. Keep in mind, he had 48 home runs in 161 games back in 2021. However, his power numbers did go down, as he had 23 home runs and 76 RBIs.

At the end of the day, Perez is still a very good catcher and exactly the player that the Astros should be aiming to bring in. Alas, we will need to wait and see if they can do just that before the regular season begins.

Don't think I'd put much stock in this. Seems like a random guy throwing shite around for clicks

I checked to see if he was related to Mark, and it appears he is not, so yeah, probably not very credible

saw this on reddit, as the javi bangwagon leader i feel obligated to remind everyone that he was 14th in Ks (in only 148 innings), 4th in WHIP,3rd in h/9, and tied for 8th in era.

more importantly, his WHIP in sep/oct was .635 in 28 innings

The best part of not being recognized in that list is that Framber and Cristian still need to be signed

Now is the time

Get busy Dana

Yuli Guerriel had been seeking $3M. He’s still out there after turning down a few deals. He changed agents, but apparently the issue was actually his sub .700 OPS. Dusty Baker is stumping to get Gurriel back with the Astros, though the fit is tight after they signed Jose Abreu

I'll stump for Yuli here, he should have won several.

Now that he's 45 though...
