As others have stated, Pena got it done with zero expense, and Correa would have cost us at other positions.
As far as head to head goes, equal power, but Correa will get the edge in all other categories, but never enough to be worth the difference in expense

No. Glove and range are equal. But Correa’s arm is far superior to Peña.
Hitting is equal. Big game situation, I love Correa.
I hope Peña’s post season offensive performance carries over to this season.

I love Pena and I think he’s only going to continue to get better. But to act like offensively they are currently equals or Pena is even better is laughable
We are comparing a 24 year old rookie who had like 100 at bats above single A before this year with a 28 year old 8 year veteran. This isn’t really fair
Again, from a team building perspective with what the Astros are typically going to spend (right below or above the tax) it was a great move

And Peña was very frustrating throughout much of the season. Totally expected for a rookie but I don’t think people should be expecting him to produce 2021 postseason type numbers for the rest of his career

Well hot damn, it's the Chasmanian devil!
ETA: We should have someone in the "Top 10 now" at every position but C and LF.

And we have the best left fielder in the league - Yedimus Maximus.

MLB source confirms Mauricio Dubón agreed with the Astros at $1.4 million. @brianmctaggart reported first.

That’s a load off our shoulders. Always good to get your 3 hole hitter locked up
