That’s where I am on all this. Trying to follow Wahoocs lead and enjoy the title, but at the same time my cynical side says can we get away with winning another one with so many holes in the lineup? If Brantley isn’t healthy we’re looking at a 7-8-9 of Chas, Meyers (or maybe Hensley), Maldy and complete garbage off the bench.

Maybe we’re talking to Conforto?

MLBN did a segment on LF WAR since ‘17, and Brantley was 1st

Regardless of if he plays the field ever again, I want his bat, and the silence around him so far in free agency is deafening

This issue would be solved if Boras would not be trying to get Conforto a contract that screams "my client may not be healthy." fricking sign a one-year prove it deal and then, ya know, prove it.

Apparently us, Mets, Rangers, Marlins are all talking to Conforto

Hard to see us outbidding Mets or Rangers in terms of years. But if Conforto just wants a 1-2 year deal (which he should) we could be in business

Perfect situation to find out his will to win

Might be his only chance to get a ring

Extra year for a few million more will get the guy that is satisfied

Rewatching some of Maldonados Interviews. This guy is gonna be a damn good manager one day of he wants to do it.

Wasn't Hosmer a big complainer about the sign scandal?

Not sure, but it would be in his nature

He’s currently selling humble pies in an effort to afford some stolen signs

His Hispanic background would probably go a long way

And he did handle the overall best pitching staff in the league

Brantley, Conforto and Profar are among players considered by Astros

Profar is a solid and versatile guy. Sign him and Brantley. Call it a day.

Im on board with that

I have no doubt Brantley can provide a lot more than what Beltran did in ‘17

It appears his market is very limited too

When it’s all said and done, Braves, Dodgers, and Astros will probably have the last laugh

Those 3 are still positioned to be in the final 8 teams for the foreseeable future

Welcome back Unc. So I guess that's it for the off season. Guessing Mike and Yordan will split time between LF and DH. I just hope Mike is back to his old self. We really needed another quality bat.
