I like Kemp leading off though
But honestly, the lineup as is just isn’t capable of comfortably surviving a Keuchel start
And I would much rather have taken my chances w Valdez, James, etc
The team just seems immediately out of it when he starts

Just about every weakness that we’ve come to learn about these players over the year (years) is manifesting today.
- Keuchel can’t get a clean first inning
- Gurriel pulling grounders to the left side
- Marwin swinging over curve balls from the left side (although he did a good job fighting off a mistake pitch up in the zone)
- Reddick failing to come through with runners on base
- McCann striking out at a ball down and in.
- Springer chasing an outside pitch for strike 3.
I hope we make adjustments, but if we don’t, I hope hinch finds the right lineup. Not many more options other than the order to me.
