So if we somehow made postseason, looks like we’d face 2nd place in Central (currently ChiSox who are 1 game back) in a 3 game series, then winner of that would play Cleveland in ALDS?
Houston/Texas/ChiSox/Cleveland are all similar caliber of teams so would be a pretty wide open path to the ALCS
As usual, it’ll be whoever gets hot at the right time

Originally I was worried they'd get hot, do well in the playoffs and then keep Espada but then I remembered that Crane fired the GM last time they won the World Series.

The bracketing is so stupid. The clear 3 best teams are all on one side and 3 dogshit teams are on the other side. But I don't have a solution as to how to re-seed it.
The NL actually works out ok. It is just one of those things that the 3 best AL teams are all in the same division.
One of the Guardians, Astros, White Sox, or Rangers is guaranteed to be in the ALCS. Scary.

The new playoff system is just dreadful. They’ll add at least one, I can see two, teams per league also when they expand in a few years. It’s fricking stupid
