The Astros have now lost four of their last five games against the only two teams in MLB with 100+ losses.

This cannot be stated enough and the Astros deserve all of the criticism and shame for this.

Whomever is to blame, it won't be him. It's never his fault.

He got his ring. He's old, he's ready to go back to Sacramento and he doesn't give a shite. He's ready for this season to end, and his players are following his lead. The sooner the organization is rid of him, the more enjoyable this franchise will be again.

I could accept this team underachieving if it was just about players underperforming. But they've wasted opportunities all year because of his managerial malpractice. He's sucked the fun out of this year.

This is what this team needs. We need Dusty’s day-off no urgency lineups to cost us…we need the “our bullpen is fine” front office to watch these implosions, and we need super validation of the incredible non-clutch ness of Jose Abreu to shine in full display to keep Bagwell and Reggie Jackson away from this team forever. Here’s to 2024 with a new manager, new catcher, and old geezers out to pasture.

Astros should self-ban themselves from the playoffs losing a series to KC.
