The A’s also pulled their starters last night

Yes they did. And I think that’s part of the reason we pulled ours. Don’t understand why they haven’t done it in return tonight. Like I said, if Chapman or Olsen gets hit with a fastball that gets away, I won’t feel bad. At all.

Framber was permanently moved to the bullpen a few days ago.

He definitely should have been, just hadn’t heard the news on it. And you’re right, Miley has put us in a huge bind. We were already down a number 5. Now we have no number 4 either.

It would not hurt my feelings one bit of one of these Oakland starters gets hit on the hands with a pitch or tears a hamstring after still playing in a 19-3 game. It seemed pretty sporting of the Astros to pull their starters last night by the 4th inning in a blowout. Cocksucking As are asking for an injury.

it’s fricking pro sports not little league. Who gives a shite about sportsmanship in a blowout

Our division lead is only 7 games, instead of 8. Wouldn't you be nervous and a little rustled?

Not nervous or rustled...we have zero chance of winning the division. Not that we ever did really. Y’all are on a whole nother level

It's a pretty consistent theme that the 29 other teams, and their fans, think much higher of the Stros than the DAT does.

We have alot of self hate and loathing issues to work through.

It’s amazing how the cockroaches come out when the Astros are losing.

And I’m not “rustled” about Oakland leaving starters in. But if you don’t think it’s stupid not to do so in a blowout, particularly after the Astros had pulled all of theirs then you’re as much of an idiot as Melvin is for taking the chance that one of them gets hurt. Enjoy second place....yet again.

That might be the biggest "just end the fricking thing" replay review I've ever seen. Profar clearly never tagged Jake and they let that shite stand.

They probably called him out on general stupidity for trying to turn a single into a double down 13 runs in the 9th inning. Just adds to the perception we all have that Astros have to be the absolute dumbest team in all of baseball when it comes to base running.

Having said that, he was absolutely safe, and someone back at replay HQs should be fired.

It shows Mengden had a save, what in the world?

Hinch asked them to lower the MTV All-Star 25 Run Basket for the final inning to make Mengden earn it.

Done with Miley. He's a lost cause. Can't rely on him. Can't trust him in the playoffs. He's finished.

Pitching the final 3 innings and maintaining the lead is always a save, regardless of the score.

And WTF has happened to Miley?
