That’s big news but I’m kinda pissed we didn’t try to claim him. Now it’s him or wait on Donaldson

The August Bobblehead of the Month: Alex Bregman!

Wristbands will be passed out at 12am tonight at the #Astros Team Store. Those with wristbands must stay in line to purchase – leaving the line or removing your wristband forfeits your right to purchase. One bobblehead per person

Watching replay, and the team stare was nice.

It had a meerkat quality to it.

We all knew before the season that we'd be saying in late August, "Thank God we have Tony Kemp and Tyler White to lead this team."

He has beaten AAA. He is better than it. He needs MLB reps and he will succeed once he sees enough MLB pitching and adjusts. The problem is when we had a cushion we didnt take advantage of it and play him to get adjusted and now we cant risk giving reps to what would be the youngest AL player. I blame Hunch on this one not ludlow. Hunch makes the lineup.

I tend to agree. Tucker will be an MLB player for some team(probably astros), but the way Hinch handled him is baffling.

Could’ve played him then or when the whole lineup was hot garbage. The one good thing is he’s the same player he was before he was called up. Him going up and down didn’t F up his mental yet, so maybe Hinch didn’t ruin him. Spring training will be big for him next year

I don't want to call him up again this year. Let him finish in Fresno and we'll see him in ST.

Couple of things that are about to go down:

1)McCann coming back. I assume that Stassi will be sent down.

2) Jake being ready. What happens there? IMO, Kemp has played too well to be sent down, but I also really like what Jake brings to the team.

3) Devo being ready. What does the bullpen look like when he finishes his rehab assignment?

I don't think they activate any of them prior to Sept 1 because rosters expand then and you don't need to send anyone down.

Devo Is the only one I could see sooner.

When McCann returns stassi won't see the field.

The post season roster will be interesting because if they carry three catchers how do you fit white and Jake on the team?

Rosters expand in a little over a week. I can see Stassi getting sent down as soon as McCann is ready -- McCann has earned not having to wait for rosters to expand.

Jake and Devo probably won't be back on the big club until rosters expand.

Then it will be Hinch's job to get Marisnick enough plate appearances to determine if he makes the post-season roster. (*if* the Astros make the post season.)

Dude they are not going to send Stassi down. He would have to clear waivers because he is out of options. They are not going to do that for an extra 4 days of McCain. They just flat out will not:
