Someone said that Ken Rosenthal said on Twitter that today's game would determine which direction the Rangers would go at the trade deadline.

Would be weak of them to quit only 1 game out of the WC.. but just like the Astros it wouldn't make a lot of sense to throw away the future.

Astros at best should stand pat and hope for the best. This roster evwn with 1 or 2 add ons isnt winning the pennant.

IF Blanco and Wesneski truly settle in I think you have the makings of a team that can win a playoff series and battle. I still don’t think there’s enough there to warrant mortgaging the future.
