We will be lucky to see him by all-star break 2027.

Abreu can be a capable closer. I think the bigger issue is who steps up in the other leverage roles. King looked like he could be a guy until about a month ago. Sousa and Dubin have looked excellent in spurts and not so great in others.

Some updates from Espada:
- No word on the severity of Hader’s injury.
- Garcia will start in Sugar Land tomorrow and McCullers on Friday.
- Alvarez took live ABs in Florida today and is a step closer to games.
- Meyers is getting close to getting into games and is working out in Florida.

I don’t want to see Lance again this year. I don’t know why they want to force that issue. Let him finish the year in Sugar Land.

Sounds like if we're going anywhere in October it'll have to be starters coming out of the pen for multiple innings. It's worked in the past and looks like we might actually end up with enough of them to do it.

Lance 24 days and counting in the IL with a blister. Guys is just a massive pussy and has no business being near the big league mound at his current salary

Ryan Pressly anyone?
I feel like too many bridges were burned between Pressly and management for that to work or he would have been called already

We'd forgive him if he weren't washed.
He is washed.
He is washed.

Chas has a good game and sits. Go figure.

And we open by putting a man on
Gonna play from behind again?
Gonna play from behind again?

God damn man I’d almost rather see Gordon get his tits ripped than uncompetitive walks.
