This is the kind of shite an elite defensive catcher should not do, and yet we see this a handful of times each year from the alleged defensive great Maldonado. That’s what pisses me off about people blowing him about his defense when he hits .170.

Only my opinion, but I would place responsibility for that inning 80% Framber, 20% Maldy. The Maldy brain fart of fielding the bunt himself initiated it. Everything after that is on Framber.
