Dodgers and Cubs are both more than capable of competing with them.

That's three games in a row with 7 doubles.

Yup.

Again on Moran, I feel like he's going to be a factor next season so Marwin can keep being super utility.

The only team able to compete with Houston is the Nationals.

I don't even think the Nats are close to them. However, crazier shite has happened in the MLB playoffs, like the 116 win Mariners not even making the World Series in 2001.

I like the Nationals starting pitching a lot more than the Dodgers.

The complete opposite is true comparing the two bullpens.

Nats bullpen is too bad for them to compete in October. Just a total disaster.

We really do have an embarrassment of riches position player wise. JD Davis should be 100 games into his AAA career but he's stuck in Corpus

I totally expect them to go HAM on bullpen trades this month. They have to do it.

Very true. They went all in on the Eaton trade (which unfortunately has backfired on them) so they don't really have a choice but to go for it this season. They might lose Harper in a few years so now is the time.

Braves teams of yesteryear were built on pitching, we have none now

I'm annoyed by watching Brandon Phillips play two games this week. I would hate to watch him play every day.

The bad thing about building on pitching is you are counting on them being healthy (Look at the Mets)

I think it's always better to get a good core of position players, then figure the pitching out later.

I want no part of Cleveland in the postseason. We just suck against them for whatever reason
