Funny you ask.

My acct sits at an all time high right now. Hit a Giants ML with Pena O 1.5 total bases parlay last night. I hated betting on an Astro, but he has just been so hot

Earlier in the season, I could bet against the Stros with a good conscience. A true win-win.

Things have just gotten too muddled at this point. I truly no longer know what a win is for the Astros anymore.

We likely don’t have baseball next year or at least will not for a portion of the season. If the Astros can make the playoffs without doing anything stupid at the deadline that’s a win.

If Crane fired Click after a WS I don’t see why he would be tied to Dana even if we somehow make the postseason.

Impossible to truly pull against them, but no team in the AL, even more so the Astros, is beating the NL.

I can't help but feel like there is a unique opportunity to cut our rebuild time in half at the deadline, using players that have no chance to be Astros after next season. And the teams that we have the most to gain from in deals need those guys now, not the unknown offseason. Nobody ever loses selling high.

Dana is out. The present OF and Burrows/Imai situations guarantee it. His lack of involvement in the draft really all you need to see.

It would be nice and convenient to feel like these deals could happen in the offseason while this team tries to overcome all its flaws, but each and every one of you know deep down that's just not the case.

Winning 2 of 3 this weekend would put them in first, and at the moment, they're 2.5 games out of a first-round bye.

Astonishing how bad the American League is this year.
