If you want a convert, how about a proven one? Mike Minor?

I like the Maldonado move for no other reason than knowing he was catching for Scioscia.

Bet he can handle our Cy Young staff better than what we have, including McCann

More relievers could be on the market if the Nats drop a couple games to the Marlins this weekend

quote:

Sources: The Washington Nationals have started discussions with teams to gauge interest if they decide to sell. Of particular interest are Kelvin Herrera, Shawn Kelley and Ryan Madson, three free-agent-to-be relievers. Nats are telling teams they’ll know by end of weekend.

Stassi and some prospects for Realmuto and Conley.

Yordan and some prospects for Harper and Herrera.

Book the parade.

I'm happy with the Happ move.

We know him and have had moderate success

Did y'all see the play he made in CF on the fake Tal's hill a few nights ago?

If you guys KNOW that the bullpen available is thin and there’s not a ton on the market, why are you guys so hard up on making a move?

If there’s no one there worth getting, why make a move just to make a move considering availability?

#Astros’ next move, after acquiring Maldonado to improve catching depth, might be a trade for a left fielder. Kyle Tucker, batting .154 with a .463 OPS in 43 plate appearances, is not yet the answer.

The Nats would be fools to NOT trade Harper. And they're going to opt to be fools. He won't resign with them and the compensation round pick they'd get for him won't be as good as a potential prospect package they could get.

With the returning talent they have like Turner, Rendon, Scherzer, Soto, Robles it's not a rebuild but a restock by leveraging a departing player.

I'm not now, but if those Nats guys become available, I could change my mind.

Harper is one of the types of guys I wouldn’t mind moving a prospect for, if he gets his shite turned around he’s a top 3 offensive player, and a power lefty bat which we don’t really have.

Realmuto doesn’t interest me that much, becuase we’d have to give up Tucker/Whitley AND Alvarez plus other pieces
