The route seemed circuitous at best.

Walker strikes out and has an intense conversation with himself

Seems like it should have been overrturned had it been challenged.

I don't understand not challenging that.... there better be a freaking good reason for no challenge.

Glad the bad call didn't give the Marlins the lead.

That has to be one of those unchallengeable calls, otherwise it’s peak frickery from Espada.

No reason that Sweet Joe shouldn’t have gotten ejected there. I’m tired of having a manager with no fire. Give me Omar Lopez for the rest of the year

I mean there could have been two different things to challenge there.

First off Paredes held it plenty long enough that even if it fell out of his glove on its own, it still should’ve been out.

But then the way it got knocked out was that it was kicked.

Either way it should’ve been an out

Exactly, but instead of challenging Sweet Joe goes out there to ask the umps how the wife and kids are doing for a couple of seconds then pats them on the arse and heads back to the dugout. I bet the umps love doing Astros games cuz they know they won’t hear shite from at least one dugout

Oh I’m sure Joe will give us a gripping explanation after the game of why he couldn’t challenge.

He's a halfway-decent hitter.

Jesus, what a hit. That was a pretty good pitch by Alcantara too.
