Those numbers are obviously aided by advantageous hitting condition
He didnt hit like that in the same conditions last year and for all the talk of Fisher and rightfully so, no one says that. Moran is hitting for a higher average and slugging pct is almost the same in same league same park.

He'll be fine for October. We'll be getting a good look at Moran and whomever else survives the trade deadline. There will be benefits from this unfortunate incident. Hopefully, proper sliding decisions and technique improvements team-wide will be amongst them.

Any reports on how Keuchel felt today? For all the talk from the pundits about how "tomorrow is the day that matters" im surprised we havent heard anything

Hinch says Jabroni will start Saturday in Baltimore. Will slot in between Fiers and McCullers. Musgrove to the bullpen "for the time being".
Bregman and Marwin will split time at short. Marwin will continue to move around to multiple positions. Moran will play 3rd against some RHP (notes he can also play 1st and rarely LF). Yuli may occasionally play some 3rd.

Hinch says Dallas feels great. Feels like hes back, like he responded well to pitching. Will throw a bullpen tomorrow and make an assessment from there on his next move.

Sounds great until you realize we would then have only 4 infielders.
Not really. Evan Gattis can play 1B, so five.
Also, Marwin can play anywhere in the infield.
Gurriel can play 1B and 3B.
Bregman can play SS and 3B.

Can he though? I feel like we tried that experiment but it didnt work out.

Gattis has played 33 innings at first base, 0 since 2013 with the Braves. Calling up Moran is the right move, he's raking at AAA and deserves another shot to show what he can do with an infielder going down. This gives you much more flexibility for spreading ABs around.

Reddick seems like he'd be a hard guy NOT to like.

I'm not holding put hope he's ready for first.round of playoffs. Will need quite a bit of time to get timing back once he's even cleared. Terrible and he only has himself to blame.
Goddamn, you're a regurgitating fool. List will be here soon to defend his buddy.
ALWAYS have to find a way to blame someone. Someone HAS to be to blame so you can beat your drum. Even earlier in this thread you were hoping you'd be right so you can continue to do this shite.
With that said, like I said earlier. Fisher not being called up says to me he's as good as gone in some sort of deal. They can't afford to diminish his value at this point.

In H-town for Isbell tonight.

No. Wrong again.
Fisher not getting called up now has nothing to do with the fact he may be traded. It has everything to do with the number of infielders we would have available.

Maybe so.
Point was brought up due to the fact that someone mentioned bringing up Fisher earlier in the thread.

Moran
There is no way Colin Moran will put up the numbers Derek Fisher did.
I am frustrated as a fan. You have Derek Fisher sitting in Fresno waiting to come to Houston and improve your team. Are you going to call him up? No, let's go with Colin Friggin' Moran, who we've already had up here and he couldn't do sh*t.
