I'm not holding put hope he's ready for first.round of playoffs. Will need quite a bit of time to get timing back once he's even cleared. Terrible and he only has himself to blame.

Really not the best time for your schtick.

Swinging the bat didn't tear his ligaments.

The Mariners must die for causing this catastrophe.

That. Or you know...team morale collapses on the heels of this news and last nights gut wrenching loss and we go on an extended losing streak.

Nobody wanted to hear it when. I said it was highly probably he would need surgery after the baserunnung boner and dumb slide in atlanta.

And yet here we are. Even last night people are giving sighs of relief because the team said it was a jammed thumb. fans need to smarten up.

When you doom and gloom for everything, eventually you are right.

It would have been better if the surgery occurred 2 weeks ago.

No one really wants to hear how smart you think you are in all things injury related. You're about 0/5 this year in predicting season ending injuries, so gloating about being right for Correa being out 6-8 weeks is pretty dumb.

ETA: So far this season its been:
McHugh
Keuchel
LMJ
Morton
Correa

Am I missing any?

At least Carlos will be back before the playoffs. He will have enough time to get back into the swing of things.

Earlier reports had Correa out with illness.

What truth have you had? Other than it was dumb for Carlos to slide head first into home? Which most here agreed with?

You were wrong about Lance, wrong about Morton, wrong about McHugh?

Does that truth hurt?

ETA: I don't know why I'm doing this. Like talking to a wall. Carry on all knowing Ryno

Can any of you guys give a quick update on how Colin Moran has done in the minors this year? I've heard he's done pretty well but I haven't seen him much this year.

Moran has really improved his stock this year, hitting .308/.373/.543 with 18 home runs and a 55:31 K:BB in 338 plate appearances in the Pacific Coast League. Those numbers are obviously aided by advantageous hitting conditions

Shortened his swing and was an AAA all star. Lunhow still had seemed pretty high on him.

It sucks to lose Correa for 2 months but maybe having Marwin in the lineup every day will be a blessing in disguise. I do think this injury adds urgency to the FO to make a deal for a top end starter

Ryno's trolling aside, my only concern is Correa regaining his form quickly when he comes back, since the postseason will likely be two weeks away.

Carlos did break his leg in 2014 though and did all that rehab and came back great. He was in the majors the next year.
