Idk if I'd do that. Wouldn't be pissed if they did but personally would probably stay away. Machado for a year seems like overkill for us.

Especially since I'm really liking this Whitley guy

Yeah Whitley is pretty damn good, but are we all fading Bregman like he's a throw in? Bregman is under team control for the next 5 years. Where he's playing now is a lot closer to his floor than his ceiling.

I think that we should be glad that Lunhow isn't as impulsive as many of us are.

Bregman also has a higher wRC+ and OPS this year over Machado. So you are trading not only the future but also the current away as well.

No Deal!

Machado has had some really bad luck this year. I read somewhere that he has the most batted balls of 100+ mph than anyone in baseball

Well that sucks. Bregman was playing at the edge of the grass. Segura bounces one over him for a single.

Dallas Keuchel with a scoreless first inning in rehab start for @cchooks. Two groundball outs (one back to him) and a strikeout #Astros

Not sure I feel comfortable with Lance as our #2 guy in October tbqh. This first inning bullshite is not what you need out of a TOR starter.

It does still happen a bit too often. Not throwing strikes early in counts is the main issue, by far.

yea he leads the league in balls batted 95+mph.

that, and he has back to back top 5 MVP finishes. And plays way better D than Bregman. And isnt arguing with people on twitter

Yesterday the google headline for the astros game was "Fiers and base running propel astros to victory over twins." Fiers and base running...lol

I haven't watched Lance pitch for about 3 weeks so maybe I'm forgetting. But has he been doing this torso twist before the pitch all season? I don't remember it.

Over 162 games, anything can happen.

I don't think Luhnow would do that. No idea but just an assumption.

Hard to imagine he would given his philosophy and the respective contract situations for all players involved. You don't want to be faced with that 2019 scenario with all these guys they are going to have to try to figure out how to pay.

All that half inning gave me was a Poche flashback.
