DAT 6/18: CWS (Rodon) at HOU (Garcia) | 7:10 CT

The Astros ran their winning streak to 4 last night and actually picked up a half-game in the standings on the idle A's with a 10-2 beatdown of the White Sox. Houston roughed up Dylan Cease en route to a 7-0 lead after 4 innings, and Chicago was screaming "¡No más!" once Brantley, Altuve and El Toro (4 runs batted in) got done with them.
Tonight, it's Carlos Rodon's turn to face this devastating Astros lineup that's seen the likes of Toro, McCormick, Maldonado and Straw flex some muscle in the last couple of days. In the last 10 games, the Astros are 8-2 with a .319 BA, 3.24 ERA and a +35 run differential. And the Astros have won 13 of 17 overall to move to a season-high 12 games above. 500.
Rodon is tough with a 6-2 mark, 97 Ks in 66 2/3 innings, a 1.89 ERA and an 0.84 WHIP. But Luis Garcia (5-4) is no slouch, either, with 72 Ks in 63 1/3 IP, a 2.98 ERA and a 1.04 WHIP.
Buckle up for Game 2.

He didn't do himself any favors with the comments the other night. I hope he gets shelled.

I was looking forward to another Roadrunner/Wile E. Coyote gif.

Jose Altuve hit 8 home runs in the last 10 games. There are 5 other Astros who have done that.
Jeff Bagwell
Morgan Ensberg
Yuli Gurriel
Glenn Davis
Jimmy Wynn
and now Jose Altuve.
Tied most multi hit homer games in a row
The Astros have hit multiple homers in the last 10 games. That ties a record. They've hit 26 homers in the last 10 games!

Was at the game last night. A little over 1/2 full but the folks there had a great time watching the Astros kick butt. One poor soul kept yelling, "Go White Sox".
Felt sorry for him after the first inning.

Sugar Land, checking in.
Way back before I went to LSU. I haven't lived there since the 90s.

Am I the only one who thought this guy has been part of the DAT for like 5 years?
But I'm not great at this. There was that time I thought Buckeye06 was a newb and he'd been here forever. Speaking of, whwre tf has he been?
