It was pretty obvious. I said it to my wife as soon as he threw the pitch.

I've never seen the umpires come together and call a balk after the fact, though.

The pitcher balked, but the umps didn't call it for some reason. Hinch sacked up and got all managerial about it and we be leading again.

What a game.

I think the umpires fricked that up. How do you totally miss a balk, nobody calls it. Then the manager comes out and they call decide they totally missed it?

No, they got the call right. How is that screwing it up? I agree it should have been called at the moment, but they probably got caught up in the moment.

If you have 4 guys not call it then the manager comes out it makes it seem sketchy when it then gets called

In all fairness. We would have come unglued if you reverse that situation. But rangers...so screw em.

The call was right. It was clearly a balk. But not one of them called it on the pitch. The opposing manager calls it a balk and they get together and decide it was a balk that none of them called. Bizzare.
