Hinch just choosing the wrong guys at the wrong time. Pathetic.
He did pretty good choosing Smith and Rondon in the 7th and 8th....
All of these guys, whether it’s Giles or Devo or Harris or Peacock have all been given opportunities to pitch the 9th inning in save situations and all of them have continued to fail for the most part (save Giles since his sample size is much larger)
I don’t agree with blaming AJ

Thought the carryover from the Giles disaster Sunday would manifest itself yesterday as another loss. Happens a day later by forcing Devo into his third game in a row. Thanks again Giles.

Chapman in vs the bottom 3 in the order. Hope we can make it to the 11th

Mate you know that I know that you know that Ludlow and his geek squad don't care. I can't argue with them but I can semi-melt as a fan because it's not that fun to watch a mediocre bullpen paired with an otherwise elite team.

It is clear we need a hired Hand in the pen. We need a bonafide closer. Someone who’s role is to pitch the 9th.
7 fricking blown saves. And I think we’ve lost most of them.

This road trip is good for the front office to see. An elite closer is needed to handle the lineups of Cleveland, NYY and Boston
Yep, just gotta think big picture. Even though we can still win this game, Luhnow has (once again) been reminded that we absolutely need a new arm or 3 in the bullpen come October
If a few losses in May/June/July is what it takes to make sure that happens...so be it. We’ll be better off in the long run

Try stealing Kemp. If he gets caught then Springer leads off next inning oh well
ETA: Nvm
Aroldis has thrown a shite ton of wild pitches this year

Why can’t kemp go to third if the ball goes in the dugout?
Posted on 5/29/18 at 9:43 pm to Rjlebla
So now Giles is up? He’s either able to pitch or not....
Posted on 5/29/18 at 9:43 pm to Rjlebla
Dammit George. Yes it was down.
Posted on 5/29/18 at 9:44 pm to Rjlebla
If we ain’t blowing saves then the Yankees are pulling shite out of their asses.

Not our night, boys. Heading to bed.

Bad shite happens to you when you make a game go longer than it’s supposed to.
