I honestly turned it off in the 7th, Yankees need to address their starting pitching as Gray, German, CC, and Tanaka all struggle to go more than 5. Not sure Fulmer or Hamela is the answer, they fricked up not getting Verlander last year

Jake needs to get shipped back down, and Peacock/Sipp need to be traded with the quickness.

Rondon had a quick 1-2-3 eighth inning. He was clearly dialed in. There wasn't any reason he couldn't have been sent back out for the ninth to face the bottom of the Yankees order. Let him at least TRY to get an out or two in the 9th before bringing in Devo.

Of course, I'm still pissed that Yuli took a strikeout in the top of the 9th when the Yankees pitcher had just walked the first two batters. Zero outs, 2 men on, the pitcher not finding the strike zone, but Yuli was up there swinging away.

Not Hinch's MO. I've given up on him ever making what most of us would call common sense baseball decisions.

I left to give the baby a bath and their bottle and put them to bed and everything was looking solid up 5-3 after Joe Smith somehow came through.

They get in bed and pull the game back up and it's a loss. GOD DAMMIT BULLPEN.

Isn't Hinch more analytical more than hunch type of manager? Where he is going with the move that has the highest percentage, rather than trusting his players

Absolutely. It's admittedly nit picking, but I disagree with never deviating from the analytical strategy. These are people, not machines.

We should move a starter to the bullpen now. Tell Charlie or Lance that we need them as the closer more than we need them as a starter. More value to this team in 2018 as a closer than as a 5th starter

Well true, I think if a pitcher is rolling you can leave him in longer rather than bringing in someone else due to what the percentages say. Boone is very analytical as well, but he does seem to go with instincts a few times as well.
