Last two games the Astros played in Fenway were really fun weren't they?

Big test to see if Odo can keep his good form going, Red Sox stink but it's still a good lineup that doesn't match up well for Odo. Current Red Sox batters have a combined OPS of .865 against him. Need some length tonight with both Javi and JV not going deep the last two games.

Looks like Whitlock was moved from the bullpen to the rotation a couple of weeks ago, this will be his 5th start and he hasn't pitched more than 5 innings or thrown more than 85 pitches in those starts.

Gut feeling, I'm not buying Odo tonight. Let's see how it plays out.

Hopefully TED and YED are licking their chops looking at Fenway's RF Fence and distance

I’d be shocked if he gets through 4 TBQH

This has all the making of a 9-7 game with plenty of scoring early and late.

So probably Astros 2, Red Sox 1.

Red Sox offense got off to a terrible start but has clicked over the last 5 scoring 9, 3, 7, 11 and 1.

Six of the eight runs yesterday scored via home run. The other two scored on a bases loaded walk and a GIDP. Take it fwiw.

Gosh damn 5 Deep.

Piss off.

Couldn't even get a half-assed win streak when we needed it.

So, Goodrum got me wondering about K percentage and where he falls in the all time list of futility at the plate for Astros non-pitchers

Goodrum K'd 51.1% of the time, but only had 45 PAs, thankfully

The first one to come to my mind was Brett Wallace and his 29.5%, and then I went straight to Castro at 27.9%.

The only other I could come up with that I thought would be in the ballpark, Chris Carter, actually surpassed both at 33.7%

That's the only ones this old man could really remember well enough to look up. Any others?

ETA- Those numbers are only in an Astros uni, not their lifetime numbers

That whole 15 team struck out a lot thinking about it. Carter, Jake, early career Springer, Valbuena (RIP), Rasmus

Marisnick was in the low 30’s including 35% in 17 and 18. Chas was 32% last year. Rasmus around 30. Valbuena lower than I thought, only 21 and 23%. I forgot how good a year he had in 2016
