We've got to find a way to win without homers. Those 3 regulars under .200 have 7, 5 and 5 homers but they're not doing any other hitting. Hence the struggling offense.

Another year, another season that Grossman has shite himself out of the gate and finds himself headed back to AAA.

But if you try to assign any responsibility for this to the hitting coach you will be derided and scorned on this board. Why is everyone so anxious for Correa to get to the Show if he is doomed to suffer the same fate.

The #Astros offense has suddenly gone MIA, scoring no more than one run in 5 of their last 8 games, and 3 or fewer runs in 7 of those games

Where the hell has this guy been? "Suddenly gone MIA"??

The Astros haven't had an offense in 6 years.

Go post that on TCB.

I'd like to see their justifications

Grossman problem is solved, hopefully for good. I suspect. I hope Correa's appearance is directly proportional to the Villar cleanse. Valbuena will be replaced by Lowrie by next opening day at the latest. The Conger deal looks weirder by the day.

And then there's the Carter/Gattis combo. I just don't know how that works out. I assume Luhnow has a plan.

I mean you know you have problems when Castro is considered one of your best hitters with a .224 average.

ETA: and I told you guys yesterday Grossman would be the one to go...not Tucker.

Fun Fact, Correa is on average almost 7 years younger than his peers in AAA. Pretty crazy

Yes they will bury you in a wall of equations and obscure Stat ratios so thick you can't see straight...all to show you that a guy who hits .140 and Ks 40% is actually better than bagwell
