I would rather fix that in FA then blow #2 pick.

On my way to Houston now. Can't wait.

Alex Presley cleared waivers and accepted am assignment to AAA Fresno. I'm thought someone would pick him up and I'm glad we keep him. He's pretty good outfield depth. (Expect him to come up when Grossman is hitting .160 near the end of April)

Bob Grossman is a changed man, he will have a good season

I'll believe it when I see it.

Remember when he went 4-4 against Texas? That was a good day

I worked out how many "runs created" (Bill James' stat) the Astros would have with their current line-up based on last year's numbers.
The number I came up with is 715 total runs, which works out to 4.41 runs per game... which would have been the 7th best in MLB last year.
Last year the Astros were 21st with 3.88 runs per game.

Plethora or bust is the theme this year. I agree with most, there will be no gray area

I'm pumped for tonight. I'm going picture in picture, Stros on 1 side, Pelicans fighting for their playoff lives on the other. My wife is going to love it.

My worry is when we go up against guys like Kluber with strikeout stuff and we don't have DK on the mound pitching lights out. I mean we only managed 3 hits Monday so theres no way we win without a great pitching performance.

Feels good to finally flip on the TV and see The Astros play. BTW judging by the crowd in the park for the pre game show, looks like the crowd will be small. So much for my hope of 20,000+.
