Singleton is guaranteed to have 3 ABs today with runners in scoring position. Will be fun to watch him beg for walks.

I can't think of any justification to put Singleton ahead of Pena. Ugh

I didn't keep up with spring training, but who in the hell are these pitchers we keep trotting out there? Thought Espada, Espanole, Epanema was a upgrade, apparently not.

No because Abreu isn't hitting either. Maldonado was a zero as a hitter while Diaz was knocking the cover off the ball.

I'd play Abreu every other day until he demonstrates he can perform. What's the difference? Not like he's a high level fielder.

Garcia, Verlander, McCullers, Urquidy, Valdez, are all injured. What are they supposed to do?

I don't blame Espada for the starting pitchers that have been taking the mound. I don't even blame him for Singleton still being on the roster. Espada is not the GM.

But I do blame him for batting Singleton sixth. Maybe he's trying to expose the fact that Singleton shouldn't be on the roster, but this isn't the way to do it.

Going back last year, Astros are 1-8 vs the Royals.

A 56-win '23 team.

Hahahahaha go frick yourself Bregman. Starting the game 0-2 in RISP with a GIDP. I hate this team so GD much would rather them be completely incompetent than constantly fricking yo RISP opportunities
