Couldn't have done it without you.

Spring training starting and Keuchel hasnt signed anywhere. This offseason has been an absolute disaster for the players. Just my opinion, but Manfred letting 75% of the AL tank their rosters is far more damaging to the sport than any pace of play problems.

Yeah we better enjoy these next few seasons cause a lockout is looming in the not so distant future

Yep. Players are going to propose a basement for salaries and the owners are going to counter with a hard cap, going to wind up with a strike again. I could see how a majority of teams would want the cap but I doubt the big 3 of NYY Bos and LAD would be on board.

I would be fine with hard cap if players you developed in your system didn't count against it.

To be fair some of these players are absolutely unreasonable in their offers. Also, bad contracts have crippled franchises so it’s hard to blame teams for being hesitant.

At the same time there should be a salary floor and salary cap

I like the idea of restricted free agency after three service years as well. Part of the problem is these guys aren’t eligible to make big money until 29/30 in a lot of cases

I like this. The value of prospects explode. Players like Harper, Machado and Trout would be far more likely to stay out

A friend of mine has FuboTV. Seems like a solid option.

I did the math for Fubo vs. VPN and MLB and it is only $96 more for the year to get Fubo and it seems easier to me.

I need DVR functionality. I can't really watch live.

The wife and I are going to cut the cord with Direcf Tv. Thinking bout going with Direct Tv Now. Are they supposed to start including AT&T SportsNet?

Wait, I have DirecTV, and never missed a game last year on ATT Sports, the former ROOT Sports.

Are you saying something has changed and they do not plan to carry the Astros?

We watch them all on the MLB.com app on our Roku and smart TVs. $60 for the whole season for just one team or $100 for the whole league, I think.

No, DirecTV has a streaming service called DirecTV Now as well that is pretty good but somehow doesn’t carry AT&T SW even though they’re owned by the same company.

I would change to DirecTV Now in a second if they picked it up and have told them as much.
