What a strange inning. looked incredible, then wild, then in the last at bat looked great then wild then a great last pitch to get the out

Good sequence by Verlander on Hoskins, but he won't and shouldn't last long in this game.

When he gets out of this with no runs allowed…the air is out of their balloon and we stomp them in the top of the 3rd.
And now for the stomping part.

He's lucky that dirt ball was caught.
That dirt ball was a good pitch.
He’s doing well at the bottom of the zone but struggling at the top.

It's time to move on from Verlander

I'm dv'ing you but just know, I don't disagree.

Gonna choose to believe that getting out of that jam will clear a mental hurdle and he’ll be ready to ride.

I really thought he'd have a chip on his shoulder and pitch with something to prove and handle his shite. Nevermind. He's just a choke artist.
Posted on 11/3/22 at 7:52 pm to Lsuhoohoo
He’s just not sharp with anything.

Have faith boys. This team comes alive here.

Nah. I like him on the team. Good leadership. I feel like 2 years post TJ he will be able to go longer into the post season. Honest assessment as PT.
He’s pitched a ton this year. That can’t be easy on his elbow. Let’s see how he does next year.
Posted on 11/3/22 at 7:52 pm to Lsuhoohoo
Okay, NOW he's going to settle in.

In this game or forever?
Great regular season pitcher, worth keeping for that
Posted on 11/3/22 at 7:53 pm to texastiger38
He's got no idea on his fastball.

I really think JV just runs out of gas at the end of the season,

Maldonado backed out of the box. Should have turned.
