Yeah gonna be exiting to get a new skip and new quarterback…dusty said we’d thank him later and don’t think that will be that far in the future.

Well we had 2 hitters drag this piece of shite offense to 7 games. What a feat

Brantley
Tucker
Pena
Maldy

Bregs and Abreu had a couple moments but largely non existent.

How dumb are the Yankees for getting rid of Montgomery for basically nothing?

The Dusty era is over.
The Maldy era is over.

Tonight is still a win.

Is it even possible that Dubon could develop here….do we have time to even take that gamble?

Is it though?

You would think, for a successful businessman like Crane, it would be an easy decision to move back to an analytical approach and on to a manager that could incorporate that into his management style. But if he listens to the clowns currently surrounding him we may be stuck with Dusty or someone worse.

But that’s the issue. Why did he move away from it to begin with? It’s inexplicable.

I think that basically everyone (everyone being all the organization’s higher ups) pretty much thought that bringing in Dusty would ease the heat up from the “cheating” scandal. It may have worked in that aspect but at what cost to the franchise???

He was hands off with Luhnows front office and while they weren't responsible for the sign stealing shite, Luhnows people weren't well received by baseball people and had developed a negative perception among baseball people and the media.

So Crane goes hands on. Puts his son as President of the team, hires Dusty himself and starts to lean on Bagwell and Reggie and baseball guy advisors. Dusty and Click routinely butt heads, Team wins the world series and Bagwell/Reggie tell him see you can throw that analytics shite out the window. A baseball guy just won the world series. You don't need Click and his nerds.
