Did y’all see Chirinos was in the stands with his family for game 6— all decked out in Astros gear cheering for the good guys?

He and Maldonado are some good dudes.

The Braves getting WS games after Manfred fricked them on the All-Star game is great. Not because I like the Braves, but because frick Manfred.

I hope the chop is so loud and pronounced in Atlanta that Manfred weeps openly. frick that pussy.

Hate having to root against CFM. Loved him as an Astros, and he just seems like an all-around great guy.

Seems about right.

1st is essentially a toss up based on this years numbers

Bergman hasn’t been great this year again

Not a lot to argue on CF or SP, recency bias feels like Framber & Luis matchup well against Morton/Freid, but they (Morton/Freid) have been more consistent

This feels a lot like the Red Sox series in that we need to bounce the starters early and get to their bullpen. They’ve got some great arms back there, but if they pitch early & often it bodes well for us

Astros Advantage: Catcher

d'Arnaud has had a rough year at the plate, postseason included. And he can't throw anybody out. Defensively he's likely worth a few extra bases to the Astros in this series over league average catcher.

No big surprise but Lance is out for the World Series. Hasn't thrown since the injury. Injury is still said to be muscular and there's no long term concern.

Well, we're going to need the Frambaw and Garcia that we saw in games 5 & 6... plus an Urquidy sighting would be nice.

Ridiculous amount of young talent in this series.

Crazy to think the Braves were able to get here without Soroka and Acuña

Funny that this will be the second consecutive year that the Braves are playing a postseason series at Minute Maid Park.

Funny Gurriel doesn’t get the edge in 1B comparison and he’s been batting 7th, yet he’s the AL batting champ. Both are justified, and we all know BA has been downgraded some by analytics. It’s just unusual. Gurriel is also a pretty good defender at 1B. He gets no respect (joking).

Equally as crazy that we are here with our pitching staff.
